Gulper.io is a multiplayer battle-arena game where players control glowing neon worm-like snakes. The goal is to grow your snake by eating as many energy pellets as possible, outsmarting and eliminating enemy snakes, and avoiding getting killed by others.
Players can choose to play with or without a username. To join a specific room, they must enter their username, an @ symbol, the room name, and click the Play button. To enter a room with more than eight players, the player needs to know the room has enough participants, or they can gather seven or more friends to sign in at the same time. If not, they’ll enter the public arena.
In the arena, players guide their snakes to consume small multicolored pellets that appear and disappear, or golden/white energy balls left behind when other snakes die. Snakes die when they collide with walls or other snakes' heads. A mini-map in the lower-right corner helps track some snakes, while the upper-right corner displays player rankings.
Gulper.io also lets players view their rankings for the day, month, and all-time by clicking the trophy icon on the main screen. Additionally, players can change their snake's color by using the rotating ring around the emoji head in the lower-right corner.
Join a private room or enter the public arena. Guide your snake to slither around, avoid other snakes, and consume as much food as possible. Curl your snake into a ring to protect it when another snake is nearby.
Controls: Keyboard: Press Spacebar to accelerate. Mouse: Click buttons and icons. Move the mouse to direct the snake. Hold the left mouse button to accelerate. Mobile: Tap buttons and icons. Slide your finger or stylus to guide the snake. Tap or press the screen to accelerate.
